About Krystine

Krystine Espina earned her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University in 2014, after beginning her legal studies in 2010. Her time in law school included practical courtroom exposure and internships that would shape the early arc of her career. The academic record provided a foundation in core areas of law and procedure that she carried into successive roles in South Florida legal offices.

Espina began gaining hands-on experience before graduation. In 2012 she worked as a law clerk at The Law Offices of Aliette H. Carolan. The following year she split time between a clerkship at Elizabeth G. Daughterty, P.A., and a judicial internship for the Honorable Elizabeth Scherer. Those positions involved legal research, drafting pleadings and orders, and observing courtroom procedure. After passing into private practice, she joined the Law Offices of Linda M. Jaffe, P.A. as an associate in 2014. A year later she became an associate at Yaffa & Associates.

Her early career shows a steady progression through staff and associate roles that emphasized practical courtroom work. The clerkships and the judicial internship exposed her to case management and judicial decision-making. As an associate, she handled client matters, prepared filings, and worked on case strategy under the supervision of more senior attorneys. The sequence of positions from law clerk to associate reflects a conventional path from legal research and drafting to client representation.

Outside the office, Espina has taken part in professional associations active in the South Florida legal community. She has been a member of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association since 2015 and joined the Florida Association for Women Lawyers the same year. Earlier in her career she was a member of the Cuban American Bar Association from 2012 to 2014. These memberships indicate ongoing engagement with regional bar activities and local legal networks.

Espina’s background combines clerkship experience, a judicial internship, and several years as an associate. She works in private practice and remains active in local bar organizations. As of 2026 she practices in South Florida and handles matters that reflect the litigation and courtroom experience she developed early in her career.
