About Kristy
Kristy Bruce earned her J.D. from Rutgers School of Law–Camden in 2008 after completing a B.A. in psychology at Arcadia University in 2000. She moved to New Jersey to study law and returned to the region to begin practice. Those early academic years set a practical tone for a career spent in two neighboring state courts.
She began her legal career in 2008 at Gaylord, Rubinstein & Popp, LLC. The following year she joined The Rubinstein Law Office, LLC as a lawyer and later served as a partner. Over more than a decade there she handled a range of matters and took on responsibilities typical of a small-firm practice, including client counseling, motion practice and court appearances.
Licensed in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Bruce has built a regional practice. She has been active in professional organizations throughout her career. She has been a member of the Mercer County Bar Association and the New Jersey Association of Justice since 2008, and joined the Bucks County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Association of Justice in 2009. She has also been involved with the Trenton Rotary Club since 2011 and has served on its board.
In 2024 she founded Bruce Law, LLC. The new firm formalized work she had been doing for years and gave her a platform to manage cases and client relationships directly. The decision to open her own firm followed sixteen years in firms where she handled litigation and courtroom matters and worked across a mix of civil issues.
Throughout her career Bruce has combined courtroom experience with local bar involvement and community activities. She represents clients in matters brought in state courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania and continues to appear in hearings and trials when cases require it. She currently practices through Bruce Law, LLC, and her practice focuses on legal representation in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
