About Kristina Rose
Kristina Rose Vickstrom trained first as a scientist and then as a lawyer. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Salve Regina University before completing her Juris Doctor at Western New England University School of Law. The combination of laboratory-style study and legal training shapes how she analyzes cases and counsel.
After law school she gained admission to practice in Massachusetts and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. Her membership in the Massachusetts Bar Association dates to 2004, and she has been active in the region’s professional networks since then. Over the years she has taken part in bar-related programs, continuing education, and local legal community efforts.
Her civic and professional involvement is broad. She has been a board member of Striving Artists Theatre Company, Inc. since 2008, a role that keeps her engaged with arts programming and nonprofit governance. She has maintained memberships in BNI since 2007 and in the Worcester Bar Association beginning in 2007. She also joined the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys in 2007. These affiliations place her in contact with a mix of business owners, local attorneys, and elder-law specialists.
Colleagues describe her work style as methodical and practical. Her undergraduate background in biology contributes to a careful, evidence-oriented approach to legal matters. She applies that method to case review, document preparation, and client counseling. She is comfortable in both courtroom and client-facing settings and works to translate technical or legal concepts into plain language for clients who are making important decisions.
Her ongoing involvement in networking groups and the Worcester Bar Association keeps her connected to developments in Massachusetts law. Participation in NAELA aligns her with peers who handle the legal needs of older adults, including planning and long-term care questions. Outside the office she continues to serve nonprofit boards and attend community events, which informs her perspective on client needs and local resources.
She maintains an active practice in Massachusetts and before the First Circuit. Her current practice concentrates on elder law and estate planning in Massachusetts.
