About Kristina Paige

Kristina Paige Horn earned her law degree from St. Mary’s University School of Law after completing undergraduate studies at Southern Methodist University. Her path through two well-regarded Texas schools gave her a solid grounding in legal doctrine and the practical skills law practice requires. The academic record reflects a conventional progression from liberal arts undergraduate work to professional legal training.

She moved into the legal profession after law school. Early years in practice often shape a lawyer’s approach, and Horn’s legal education placed emphasis on courtroom procedure, legal research, statutory interpretation and written advocacy. Those are the core tools she carried into private practice and client work.

Across her career she has worked on matters that required careful legal analysis and attention to detail. Her training at St. Mary’s exposed her to litigation and transactional coursework, and the work that follows such training commonly involves drafting pleadings, negotiating agreements, counseling clients and preparing for hearings. Colleagues and clients expect clear legal writing and methodical preparation; those are skills Horn built and relied on in day-to-day practice.

Horn’s undergraduate experience at Southern Methodist University contributed to critical thinking and communication skills that lawyers use every day. A liberal arts background often fosters the ability to synthesize complex information and present arguments clearly. In practice, that translates into organizing legal theories, preparing persuasive briefs and advising clients about options and risks.

Her professional life has included litigation tasks and client counseling associated with private law practice. That mix requires familiarity with court rules, evidence, and negotiation strategies, as well as the practicalities of managing client expectations and procedural deadlines. Many attorneys who follow a similar course balance courtroom work with out-of-court resolution strategies; Horn’s training aligns with that professional profile.

Outside the courtroom, effective practice depends on ongoing legal research, keeping current on statutory and case law changes and maintaining clear lines of communication with clients. Those elements are part of Horn’s day-to-day approach to matters she takes on.

As of 2026 she continues to practice law and accepts client matters, handling legal representation and counseling in her private practice.
