About Konstantine A
Konstantine A Demiris earned his J.D. from Santa Clara University in 2005. His legal training there prepared him for immediate entry into public service and later private practice.
He began his career in 2005 as a deputy county counsel at the County Counsel’s Office. That early role gave him firsthand exposure to municipal and administrative matters and to the rhythms of public agency work.
After several years in government, he moved into private practice. In 2010 he joined Barr & Barr as a lawyer. Three years later he became a partner at Demiris & Moore. Those positions placed him on both sides of client representation and firm management.
By 2017 he was working with The Demiris Law Office, A Professional Corporation. The firm appears in public listings as The Demiris Law Office, P.C., where he is listed as a lawyer. His resume records a steady progression from deputy county counsel to private practitioner and firm partner.
Outside the office he has taken on roles in local legal organizations. He has served on the Board of Directors of Mobility Matters since 2017. Since 2015 he has been a delegate to the Conference of California Bar Associations for Contra Costa County. He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Contra Costa County Bar Association’s Elder Law Section beginning in 2015, and he was president of the Bar Association’s Barristers Section in 2015. He has held membership in the Contra Costa County Bar Association since 2010.
Those affiliations reflect ongoing involvement in county bar affairs and in issues that touch older and vulnerable populations. His background includes public law work from his time as deputy county counsel and experience in private firms. He has stayed active in bar governance and local nonprofit boards.
He currently practices through The Demiris Law Office, P.C., where his work draws on his county counsel background and his involvement in elder law matters. His current practice focuses on matters arising from that mix of public and private experience.
