About Kirk M.

Kirk M. Fedewa began his legal journey after completing a law degree at Marquette University Law School in 2014. He earlier earned a Bachelor of Arts in history, political science and broad-field social studies from Wisconsin Lutheran College in 2003. Those academic years framed an interest in public affairs and the practical side of law that followed into his professional life.

He entered practice soon after law school and took on roles that gave him exposure to courtroom procedure and client counseling. He worked as an associate at ESSLERLAW LLC, where he handled research, drafted pleadings and assisted on trials. That experience sharpened the everyday tasks of litigation and client preparation, from early case assessment to discovery and motion practice.

Fedewa’s approach to cases is methodical. He breaks issues into manageable parts and builds factual records that support his positions. He draws on classical training in history and political science when framing arguments, and on law school training for the technical side of litigation. Colleagues have described him as thorough and detail-oriented in his file work and courtroom preparation.

Outside of casework he has remained connected to the legal community. He maintains memberships in professional groups and attends continuing education offerings to stay current on developments in the law. That ongoing engagement keeps him aware of shifting procedural rules, new case law and practical strategies that affect clients.

At present, Fedewa practices at Watton Law Group. There he handles client matters that move through the stages of intake, investigation and resolution. His prior role at ESSLERLAW LLC informs how he manages discovery and case strategy today. He works on matters that require careful factual assembly and clear legal reasoning, and he spends time preparing clients for the realities of litigation and settlement.

Outside the office he draws on a background in the social sciences when explaining legal concepts to clients. He aims for clear, direct explanations rather than jargon, so people understand options and risks. He currently practices at Watton Law Group, handling client matters from initial intake through resolution.
