About Kip Douglas

Kip Douglas Malek grew up curious about how things are made. That curiosity led him to Purdue University, where he completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Graphics in 2000. Years later he turned that analytical bent toward the law, enrolling at Capital University Law School and earning his J.D. in 2014.

After law school, Malek moved into private practice. In 2014 he joined Malek and Malek Lawyers At Law as an associate lawyer. The firm role placed him in the daily grind of litigation work. He handled pleadings, discovery and courtroom preparation. Colleagues describe him as steady in litigation settings and attentive to technical details.

Malek is admitted to practice in Ohio. He has maintained membership in the Ohio Association for Justice since 2014. That affiliation keeps him connected to developments in civil trial practice and to a network of lawyers who handle trial-level disputes. He participates in association meetings and continuing legal education tied to trial procedure and evidence.

His education in computer graphics is an unusual asset for a litigator. The technical training shapes how he reviews exhibits and prepares demonstrative evidence. He is comfortable converting complex material into visual layouts that judges and juries can follow. That does not replace legal analysis, but it changes the way he organizes case files and prepares witness presentations.

Throughout his tenure at Malek and Malek, Malek has balanced case management duties with courtroom appearances. He has taken part in hearings and pretrial conferences and supported larger trial teams. The associate role required him to coordinate discovery, manage timelines and draft motions. He has also worked directly with clients to gather factual detail and explain procedural steps.

Outside the office he remains involved in professional development. The Ohio Association for Justice membership has been a steady part of that picture since he entered practice. Those programs offer updates on evidence rules, trial technology and procedural changes in state courts. Malek uses continuing education to refine trial techniques and to stay attuned to evolving courtroom practices.

Malek lives and works in Ohio and continues his practice at Malek and Malek Lawyers At Law. He currently focuses his practice on civil litigation and trial work in Ohio.
