Kimberly T. Lee is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. She was admitted to the California State Bar in 1999. Her license is currently in active status. Ms. Lee is the founder of Desert Law Group, a law firm located in Indian Wells, California. She has been practicing law for over 27 years, serving clients throughout the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas.
Ms. Lee earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of La Verne College of Law, graduating summa cum laude. Prior to law school, she completed her undergraduate education at the University of California, Los Angeles, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. During her time at the University of La Verne, she was recognized for her academic excellence and graduated with the highest honors.
Ms. Lee concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, trust administration, and probate law. She represents individuals and families in matters involving wealth preservation, asset protection, and the creation of wills and trusts. Her practice encompasses all stages of estate planning, including initial consultations, document preparation, and post-death administration. She also handles probate proceedings, guiding clients through the legal process of administering estates and resolving any disputes that may arise.
Throughout her career, Ms. Lee has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Riverside, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding Desert Law Group, she served as a judicial law clerk for the California Supreme Court, the United States Federal Bankruptcy Court, and the California Courts of Appeal, providing her with a comprehensive understanding of the judicial process.
Ms. Lee is an active member of the California Lawyers Association, serving as the Education Chair for the Solo Small Firm Section. She is also a member of WealthCounsel, ElderCounsel, and the Desert Bar Association. She has served on the Board of Directors for the Desert Estate Planning Council and the Advisory Board for the American Cancer Society, Animal Samaritans, Coachella Valley Community Foundation, and First Foundation Bank. Ms. Lee is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing her to serve the diverse communities of the Coachella Valley effectively.
