About Kimberly Steinberg
Kimberly Steinberg Goodman is a seasoned personal injury attorney based in West Bloomfield, Michigan. With over 28 years of legal experience, she developed her expertise in personal injury and medical malpractice cases. Kimberly earned her Bachelor of Arts in History of Art from the University of Michigan in 1992, followed by her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 1997. This strong educational foundation laid the groundwork for her successful legal career. In 1998, Kimberly began her journey in law at the Law Offices of Ronald Steinberg & Associates PLLC, where she worked diligently until 2019. During her tenure there, she gained inexperience and developed a understanding of the intricacies involved in personal injury litigation.
In 2019, she took a significant step by founding Steinberg Goodman Law PLLC, a firm dedicated to representing injured individuals across Michigan. Her commitment to advocacy has remained unwavering, as she continues to fight for the rights of her clients. Throughout her career, Kimberly has litigated cases in state, federal, and appellate courts throughout Michigan. Her extensive courtroom experience gave her the skills necessary to navigate complex legal fields. In addition to her litigation work, she serves as a case evaluator in Oakland County, further demonstrating her dedication to the legal community and her desire to assist in the fair resolution of disputes. Her contributions to the field have not gone unnoticed; in August 2025, Kimberly was recognized in the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for her work in Personal Injury Litigation and Medical Malpractice Law.
This prestigious honor is based entirely on peer review, highlighting the respect and trust she has earned from fellow attorneys. Kimberly's focus on law is deeply rooted in her family history — She is a third-generation plaintiff attorney, inspired by her grandfather, Morris H. Shillman, who passionately advocated for injured clients at trial. Observing her grandfather's dedication sparked her interest in law, and she later had the opportunity to join her father, Ronald A. Steinberg, in depositions and court proceedings. This familial legacy instilled in her a belief that every injured person deserves a advocate and the chance to be heard.
Outside of her professional commitments, Kimberly enjoys a fulfilling personal life. She spends quality time with her husband and their two sons, engaging in activities such as reading, watching movies, and exploring local art scenes. Additionally, she dedicates her time to several local organizations, serving as a committee and/or board member. Through these efforts, Kimberly not only enriches her community but also embodies the values of service and advocacy that have defined her career.
