About Kim Jones
Kim Jones Penepacker built a steady legal path through Baylor classrooms and courtroom work. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from Baylor University in 2013 and completed her J.D. at Baylor Law School in 2016. Those years set the stage for immediate entry into practice and professional organizations.
After law school she spent a summer as a law clerk at Rogers LLP in 2015. Early practical experience there was followed by an associate position at Simpson & Simpson in 2017. A year later she became a partner when the firm reformed as Simpson, Simpson & Penepacker. In 2020 she joined Aulsbrook Law Office, PLLC as a partner and remains on the firm’s roster today. Her career shows a rapid move from junior roles to firm leadership in a relatively short span.
Penepacker has maintained active bar membership since 2016 when she joined the State Bar of Texas. She also holds memberships in organizations that serve trial lawyers and plaintiffs’ counsel, including the Texas Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice since 2017. Since 2018 she has been listed as a life member of both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. She is also a member of the Texas Young Lawyers Association.
Her professional affiliations point to sustained involvement in trial practice and civil litigation circles. Colleagues describe her as someone who moved quickly into roles that required both courtroom readiness and case management. She has experience shepherding cases from intake through motion work and, when necessary, to trial.
Penepacker works from Aulsbrook Law Office’s offices, including its Decatur location. She carries the responsibilities expected of a partner: mentoring junior lawyers, coordinating with clients, and taking primary roles in litigation planning. Her resume reflects steady engagement with organizations that emphasize trial advocacy and significant civil recoveries.
She is licensed in Texas and remains active in state bar activities and local legal communities. She currently practices at Aulsbrook Law Office, PLLC, handling civil trial matters and related litigation work.
