About Kevin T.
Kevin T. Hardy earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin in 2001 and completed his law degree at the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2007. Those years shaped his legal foundation and anchored his decision to build a practice in South Carolina.
After law school he became admitted to practice in South Carolina. He joined Quinn & Hardy as a partner in 2015, taking on a mix of casework and firm responsibilities. That period tested both his courtroom work and his ability to manage client relationships under pressure. Colleagues from that time described a lawyer comfortable handling complex schedules and competing priorities.
In 2020 he established Hardy Law Office, LLC and serves as the firm’s managing member. The move brought him back to running a smaller, more centralized practice. He oversees daily operations while handling a docket of matters that reflect the needs of clients in the state. Running a small firm means shifting between strategy, staffing and direct client work on a regular basis.
Hardy’s background combines courtroom experience from his years as a partner and hands-on management from his role at his own firm. He emphasizes clear communication with clients. He also places priority on practical solutions rather than elaborate litigation plans when a simpler route will resolve a dispute. Those instincts guide how he evaluates new matters and advises people who come to his office.
Outside of casework he has navigated the administrative side of running a law office in the 2020s, including staffing, billing practices and maintaining compliance with state rules. He has adapted procedures as the legal marketplace has shifted, balancing remote work and in-person meetings according to client needs. That operational experience informs how he staffs cases and allocates resources for larger matters.
Today Hardy practices from Hardy Law Office, LLC and serves clients across South Carolina. He maintains an active private practice and manages the firm’s operations while representing individuals and businesses in matters brought in state courts. His current practice focuses on serving clients throughout South Carolina from his office at Hardy Law Office, LLC.
