About Kevin
Kevin Rang graduated from Michigan State University in 1990 and earned his J.D. from The University of Michigan Law School in 1995. He completed his legal education in Ann Arbor at a time when the region was home to several national firms and active corporate work. The early years after law school set the stage for a career divided between two neighboring states.
Rang was admitted to the Michigan bar in 1995 and later gained admission in Illinois in 2001. Those dual admissions have allowed him to practice across state lines and to handle matters that cross jurisdictions. Over the years he has moved from junior associate roles into senior firm leadership. Today he serves as a partner at Mayer Brown LLP.
