About Kevin
Kevin Kunde built his legal foundation at the University of Florida, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science. He moved west to pursue a J.D. at Chapman University Fowler School of Law. Those years shaped his understanding of how policy, markets and law intersect. They also put him on a path to courtroom practice and client counsel.
After law school, Kunde entered private practice and became a lawyer at 1st California Law. His work there has involved case preparation, client advising and representation in filings before California courts. He has established a procedural familiarity with litigation and court processes. Memberships at the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California make it possible for him to take cases in both state and federal forums.
Colleagues describe Kunde as methodical in the way he builds a file. He tends to set a clear timeline for discovery and court deadlines and focuses on clear written submissions. In hearings and conferences he emphasizes organization and adherence to procedure. That approach is reflected in how he prepares pleadings and briefing for motion practice and trial readiness.
Outside of direct case work, Kunde keeps current on changes in California civil procedure and federal court practice. He participates in bar activities and maintains an active membership in the State Bar of California. His admission to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California allows him to appear on behalf of clients in federal matters when those cases arise.
Kunde practices at 1st California Law Inc. He represents clients in matters brought in California courts and in the Central District of California. He continues to build his practice through courtroom work, motion practice and client counseling in state and federal proceedings.
