About Kevin
Kevin Koc earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources from Wichita State University in 1998 and went on to receive a J.D. from the University of Kansas in 2004. His academic path combined business training and legal study, a pairing that has informed much of his practice. He is admitted to practice in both Kansas and Missouri.
He began practicing law in 2004 at the Employee Rights Law Office and at the Law Office of Mark A. Jess. Early years at those offices involved client representation and courtroom work typical of small civil firms. In 2010 he joined Reavey Law LLC, where he continued to develop litigation skills and handle matters for individual clients and businesses.
In 2021 Koc altered his practice structure. He took an of-counsel role at The Meyers Law Office L.C. while founding Koc Law LLC as owner. The dual roles reflect a shift toward managing his own firm while maintaining collaborative ties with other lawyers. Over time he has alternated between working inside established practices and operating as a principal in his own firm.
Koc’s background in human resources and his first position at an employee-rights oriented office suggest a steady engagement with workplace disputes and employment issues. That experience sits alongside general civil litigation work he has undertaken at subsequent firms.
