About Kevin
Kevin Barron earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1984. He began his legal career soon after, spending a year abroad as a clerk in Frankfurt am Main in 1985. That early international experience preceded a series of positions in U.S. practice that built into a lengthy private-practice career.
In 1987 Barron worked at Lehnhardt & Bauman. The following year he joined Kirlin, Campbell as an associate. He became a member of the Massachusetts State Bar in 1988 and has maintained that membership since. In 1991 he practiced at the Law Office of Marshal A. Stern in Bangor, Maine. By 1993 he was listed in private practice in Bar Harbor, Maine under the name KEVIN L BARRON ATTORNEY AT LAW.
Barron’s admissions show a mix of state and federal credentials. He is admitted in Massachusetts and New York, and he is authorized to appear before the United States Supreme Court. He also holds admission in the federal appellate districts that cover the First and Second Circuits. Those credentials allow him to handle matters that cross state lines and to appear in appellate courts when necessary.
His career has been largely in private practice. Over the years he has moved between firms and solo practice, accumulating courtroom familiarity and procedural experience. Colleagues and court records reflect steady engagement in the types of matters typically brought to state and federal tribunals, rather than a single, narrowly defined specialty. He has combined case work at smaller offices with periods at larger firms.
Today Barron operates under the name KEVIN L BARRON ATTORNEY AT LAW, a practice that has at times been listed in Bar Harbor, Maine. He remains a member of the Massachusetts State Bar and retains his federal admissions. He currently maintains a private practice in which he represents clients in matters before state and federal courts.
