Kerry Alan Denton is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2004. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Denton is the owner of Denton Law Group, a law firm located in Chula Vista, California. He has been practicing law for over 21 years, serving clients throughout the San Diego metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
Mr. Denton earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law, where he graduated in 2002. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at the University of North Dakota, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999. During his time at UND, he was involved in various student organizations and activities.
Mr. Denton concentrates his practice in the areas of bankruptcy law and debt relief services. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy filings, debt consolidation, and debt repayment plans. His practice encompasses all stages of bankruptcy proceedings, including initial case evaluation, filing, creditor negotiations, and court hearings.
Throughout his career, Mr. Denton has handled cases in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of California. He has also appeared before the California Superior Court in San Diego County. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate attorney at a bankruptcy law firm in San Diego for five years.
Mr. Denton is an active member of the San Diego County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bankruptcy Institute. He is also involved in community outreach programs, providing pro bono legal services to low-income individuals seeking debt relief. Mr. Denton is fluent in English and Spanish, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of San Diego County effectively.
