KeriAnn Brady is a seasoned criminal defense attorney based in Anchorage, Alaska — Since 1997, she has dedicated her legal career to specializing in criminal law. Her areas of expertise include criminal appeals, drug crimes, expungement, fraud, gun crimes, internet crimes, sex crimes, theft, and violent crimes. With a focus on defending the rights of her clients, Ms. Brady is known for her knowledge of the complexities involved in criminal cases. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 1997, the same year she began her legal practice in Alaska. Prior to her law degree, Ms. Brady graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mississippi.
This strong educational foundation laid the groundwork for her future endeavors in the legal field. After completing her education, she took on the role of Assistant District Attorney at the Anchorage District Attorney's Office, where she served from 1997 to 2006. During this time, she gained inexperience in prosecuting many criminal cases. In 2006, Ms. Brady briefly served as the Acting Director at the Office of Victim's Rights, where she focused on advocating for victims within the legal system. However, her focus on criminal defense led her to transition back into public advocacy. From 2007 to 2010, she worked as an Assistant Public Advocate at the Office of Public Advocacy, providing legal representation to those in need.
In 2010, she took a significant step by establishing the Brady Law Office, where she served as the owner and attorney until 2016. This venture allowed her to further hone her skills and provide personalized legal services to her clients. In 2016, Ms. Brady returned to the Office of Public Advocacy as an Assistant Public Advocate, continuing her commitment to defending the rights of individuals facing criminal charges. The following year, she worked as a Hearing Representative at the Law Offices of G. John Jansen and Associates, adding to her experience in the legal arena. Throughout her career, she has remained actively involved in various professional associations, including the Alaska State Bar Association, the Alaska State Prosecutors' Association, and the Anchorage Association of Women Lawyers.
She is also a member of the Alaska Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys. In 2022, Ms. Brady was recognized for her 25 years of membership in the Alaska Bar Association—evidence of her dedication and service to the legal community.
