About Kerensa Elizabeth

Kerensa Elizabeth Davis is a dedicated real estate attorney and registered mediator based in Peachtree City, Georgia. Since 2006, she has been practicing law in Georgia, with a strong emphasis on real estate law and mediation services. As a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Real Estate Section, she is experienced in the details of real estate transactions. Prior to her current role at Slepian, Schwartz & Landgaard, she spent eight years honing her expertise at a prominent firm in Buckhead, where she gained inexperience in both residential and commercial real estate. During her time in Buckhead, Davis handled a diverse range of real estate transactions.

Her work included closings, construction lending, foreclosures, short sales, and real estate owned (REO) properties. Additionally, she provided legal counsel for various development projects, such as multi-family residential complexes, townhomes, condominiums, mixed-use developments, retail spaces, office buildings, apartments, and warehouses. This breadth of experience gave her the skills necessary to draft essential legal documents, including covenants, leases, deeds, agreements, and customized mortgage loan documentation. In addition to her legal practice, Davis is a registered mediator in Georgia's 6th District. She mediates both general and domestic cases that arise within the court system, as well as private matters between individuals and companies, often before disputes escalate to litigation.

Mediation is a voluntary and confidential process, and Davis guides these sessions without the constraints of formal rules of evidence or procedure. Notably, mediation has demonstrated a high success rate, with an 85% settlement percentage reported nationwide. Her mediation practice encompasses many issues, including elder care disputes, landlord-tenant conflicts, homeowner versus contractor disagreements, and various domestic relation matters. Educationally, Davis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia. She furthered her studies by obtaining her Juris Doctor from the Walter F.

George School of Law at Mercer University, where she graduated magna cum laude. This strong academic foundation has contributed to her effective legal practice and mediation skills. Outside of her professional life, Davis is married to her husband, Keven, and together they are raising four young children. Recently, they relocated from North Atlanta to the Fayetteville area, where they have become active members of Heritage Christian Church and engaged in their local school system. This commitment to community involvement reflects her values and dedication to fostering positive relationships both personally and professionally.
