About Kenrick Frank
Kenrick Frank Roberts earned his law degree from the UDC David A. Clarke School of Law in 2016 after completing graduate work at Nova Southeastern University and undergraduate study at Saint Leo College. He received an M.S. in College Student Affairs and Conflict Analysis & Resolution in 2009 and a B.A. in Sociology and Political Science in 2007. Those academic steps framed a steady progression from student affairs and conflict study into the practice of law.
He began his legal career in the Maryland Judiciary, serving as a judicial law clerk in 2016. The clerkship gave him daily exposure to court procedure, opinion drafting and the management of complex dockets. That experience also offered a practical view of how judges weigh evidence, frame legal issues and structure written orders.
In 2017 he joined Berman, Sobin, Gross LLP as an associate lawyer. At the firm he took on responsibilities typical for early-career litigation attorneys: preparing pleadings, conducting discovery, advising clients on procedural matters and assisting at hearings and trials. His work there contributed to a foundation in litigation practice and courtroom preparedness. The firm’s name later appears as Berman, Sobin, Gross, Feldman & Darby, LLP, where he is listed among the attorneys in office.
Roberts holds memberships in the Maryland State Bar Association, beginning in 2016, and in the American Association for Justice, beginning in 2017. These affiliations reflect involvement in the bar community and access to continuing legal education and practice resources. Colleagues and court contacts have noted his familiarity with legal research tools and his routine handling of case management tasks that support trial teams.
His background combines courtroom exposure from a clerkship with hands-on litigation duties at a private firm. He brings experience in drafting legal documents, preparing evidence, and assisting clients through procedural stages of a case. He currently practices at Berman, Sobin, Gross, Feldman & Darby, LLP, where he handles litigation and related legal work.
