Following his undergraduate studies, he pursued a Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law, graduating in 1988. This educational background gave him the skills necessary to navigate complex legal fields. After completing law school, Mr. Bornstein joined the Legal Aid Society in Queens, where he gained invaluable courtroom experience. Handling a variety of cases from inception to disposition, he developed his litigation skills and developed a strong commitment to serving those in need. In 1992, he co-founded Bornstein & Emanuel, P.C., alongside his partner Anthony J. Emanuel.
