In the same year, she earned her Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Florida College of Law. Prior to that, she completed her Bachelor of Arts with honors at the University of Florida in 1994. This strong educational foundation laid the groundwork for her future success in the legal field. Throughout her career, Kendall has dedicated over 25 years to workers' compensation law.
Initially, she began her practice as a general civil practitioner, gaining a broad understanding of various legal issues. However, her focus soon shifted exclusively to workers' compensation cases, where she found her true passion. In 2002, she became a partner at Eraclides Gelman, a prominent law firm in Florida. During her tenure there, she represented numerous employers, carriers, and servicing agents, honing her skills in navigating complex legal fields. Kendall's expertise extends beyond traditional legal representation. She served as a Medicare Set-Aside Consultant Certified (MSCC), providing invaluable guidance on Medicare compliance issues in workers' compensation cases.
Additionally, she took on the role of lecturer, educating fellow professionals on various topics to help them obtain continuing legal education credits from the Department of Insurance. This commitment to education reflects her dedication to the legal profession and her desire to elevate the standards of practice within her field. In 2016, Kendall made a pivotal career move by returning to representing injured workers. She joined Harris Guidi Rosner, P.A. in Jacksonville, where she has been a steadfast advocate for the rights of injured workers. Her experience includes handling complex cases involving catastrophic injuries and death claims, where she has successfully secured substantial settlements for her clients.
This shift allowed her to focus more on the individuals she represents, ensuring they receive the support and compensation they deserve. Kendall is an active member of several professional organizations, including the E. Robert Williams American Inn of Court, the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Jacksonville Women's Lawyers Association, the Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel, and the Jacksonville Justice Association. Her contributions to the legal community have not gone unnoticed; she was recognized with a Peer Review Rated Attorney designation by Martindale-Hubbell in 2017 and received a Client Choice Award from Avvo in the same year. Fluent in English, Kendall remains committed to serving the Jacksonville community, continuing her work as a dedicated advocate for injured workers throughout Florida.
