About Kellie S.
Kellie S. Howell built a steady path into the Oklahoma legal community. She earned a B.A. in History from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2009. Four years later she graduated from Oklahoma City University School of Law with a J.D. in 2013. Those academic years gave her the legal foundation she uses every day.
She began her professional practice in Oklahoma after law school. By 2014 she was a partner at Sansone Howell PLLC. The partnership came early in her career and placed her in a role with responsibility for case management and client counsel. Colleagues say she moved quickly into courtroom work and firm leadership.
Howell has maintained active ties to the broader bar since the start of her career. She joined the American Bar Association and the Oklahoma Bar Association in 2013. She also became a member of the Oklahoma Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Oklahoma County Bar Association the same year. Her participation extends to the Robert J. Turner American Inn of Court, a group that emphasizes professional standards and mentoring among trial lawyers.
Her memberships reflect the kinds of work she pursues. Howell appears regularly in county courts across Oklahoma. She handles arraignments, motions and trial preparations, and she represents clients at different stages of criminal proceedings. In office and in court she is known for clear written work and direct oral advocacy. She also works on case strategy with other lawyers at her firm, helping prepare evidence and witness examinations.
At Sansone Howell PLLC Howell manages a caseload that draws on her years of practice in Oklahoma courts. She remains active in local and state bar groups and in the Inn of Court where newer attorneys meet experienced practitioners. Her current practice is based at Sansone Howell PLLC in Oklahoma, where she handles criminal defense and related matters in state court.
