About Kayla
Kayla Wengronowitz built her academic foundation at the University of Minnesota–Duluth, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She went on to complete her legal education at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, finishing law school prepared to enter practice.
At Mitchell Hamline, she developed the core skills required for courtroom work and client counseling. Her time in law school included intensive legal research, writing, and practical training. Those experiences shaped the way she approaches fact development and strategy as a practicing attorney.
After completing her J.D., Wengronowitz began her professional career in private practice. She joined Caplan & Tamburino, where she has worked on a variety of matters handled by the firm. In that role she has taken on responsibilities that include case preparation, client interviews, drafting pleadings and motions, and participating in settlement discussions.
Wengronowitz maintains current membership in professional associations. She takes professional development seriously and participates in continuing legal education and organization activities that keep her current on changes in law and procedure. That ongoing engagement informs how she evaluates new developments that could affect client matters.
Colleagues describe her approach as deliberate and practical. She pays close attention to the facts in each case and favors clear communication with clients about options and likely outcomes. Her work style emphasizes careful preparation before hearings and a measured approach to negotiation when resolution is possible.
Outside of case work she has been involved in activities that support the broader legal community. That involvement has included attending seminars and contributing to group efforts to improve practice processes. She places particular value on staying connected to peers and to the systems that shape practice in her jurisdiction.
Wengronowitz’s career path has been steady and practice-oriented. She applies her academic training and ongoing professional learning to the work she does at the firm. She currently practices at Caplan & Tamburino, where her work focuses on client representation and legal counseling.
