Katy L. McCully began her legal path at Westmont College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in 2003. She continued her studies at Baylor Law School and received her J.D. in 2007. Those years shaped her approach to legal writing and courtroom procedure, grounding her in both theory and practice.
After law school she entered private practice. Her first listed role was at Betts & Wright PC in 2007, where she worked as a lawyer handling day-to-day client matters and firm responsibilities typical of a new associate. In 2009 she moved to Dowling, Aaron & Keeler. There she built on earlier experience and took on increasingly complex assignments. By 2011 she joined Shein Law Group, PC, joining a practice where she remains on staff.
