About Katrina Marie
Katrina Marie Pemberton graduated from Texas A&M University School of Law in 2015. She arrived in the Texas legal community as a recent law school graduate and built a practice grounded in family law and mediation. Her academic years included training that prepared her for courtroom work and dispute resolution.
She began her professional career as an associate at Scott, Ray & Sullivan PLLC in 2014. That early role put her into day-to-day client matters and the practical work of litigation. Over the next several years she handled contested hearings, negotiated settlements and worked in collaborative problem solving on family law disputes.
In 2021 she became a partner at Scott, Ray, Pemberton & Goll PLLC. As a partner she took on more responsibility for case strategy and client counseling. The firm name reflects her presence in the leadership team and her continuing work on family law matters.
Pemberton holds mediation credentials from the Austin Dispute Resolution Center and an Advanced Family Law Mediation Certification from Mediators & Arbitrators of America. She also maintains memberships in the Texas Bar College and the Collin County Bar Association, both of which list her as a member since 2023. Over time she has balanced courtroom litigation with alternative dispute resolution, often guiding clients toward mediated outcomes when those options fit the circumstances.
Her practice experience covers divorce proceedings, child custody and visitation matters, property division and related financial issues.
