About Katie
Katie Hubbard took a conventional path into law. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from McKendree College in 2007 and completed her Juris Doctor at Saint Louis University School of Law in 2010. Those academic years set the groundwork for a private-practice career that has now passed the decade mark.
Fresh out of law school in 2010, Hubbard joined Goldenberg Heller & Antognoli, P.C. Her early years at that firm gave her front-line exposure to the daily work of a practicing lawyer. In 2019 she moved to Brown & Crouppen Law Office, where she continued to build on that foundation. The most recent step came in 2023, when she began working at Spiros Law, P.C.
Along the way Hubbard pursued professional development tied to trial and advocacy. She completed the Justice Leadership Academy offered by the American Association for Justice. She also holds licenses to practice in both Missouri and Illinois. Those credentials have accompanied her through multiple firm environments and court settings.
Hubbard’s resume is steady rather than flashy. She has remained in private practice, shifting among firms as opportunities and caseloads changed. Colleagues describe her as someone who keeps cases moving and pays attention to procedural details. She has worked on matters that required courtroom preparation and client-facing case management. She also maintains memberships in professional associations and attends training programs to keep current on litigation procedures and trial techniques.
Her career shows a pattern of incremental responsibility. Each move brought new files and new challenges. The firms she has joined vary in size and focus, which exposed her to different ways of handling client work, firm collaboration, and case strategy. That variety informs how she approaches daily practice and problem solving for clients.
Outside of case work, Hubbard has invested time in continuing education and bar-related activities. The Justice Leadership Academy credential is one visible example of that investment. She is licensed in two neighboring states, which provides flexibility for client representation and courtroom appearances when matters cross state lines.
She is currently a lawyer at Spiros Law, P.C., where she practices and serves clients in Illinois.
