About Katie

Katie Holliday is an attorney admitted to the Montana bar in 2009. She has been an active member of the State Bar of Montana since that year. Over more than a decade in practice, she has worked with individuals and organizations across the state on matters that require familiarity with Montana law and procedure.

Her early years after admission were spent learning the practical contours of courtroom work and client counseling. She has served clients in hearings and trials, prepared pleadings and motions, and advised on procedural and substantive questions that arise in state matters. Colleagues describe her approach as methodical; she steps through issues carefully and communicates options in straightforward terms.

Holliday’s work encompasses both advocacy and advisory tasks. She has experience drafting documents, negotiating on behalf of clients, and representing interests in adjudicative settings. Those tasks have required attention to deadlines, evidence, and the particular rules that govern Montana courts and agencies. She balances litigation responsibilities with the more routine demands of client representation, such as preparing filings and managing case logistics.

Engagement with the Montana legal community has been part of her professional life since 2009. She maintains her membership in the State Bar of Montana and participates in its continuing legal education offerings and professional networks. That connection keeps her up to date on changes in state law and procedural developments that affect her clients.

In day-to-day practice she concentrates on matters arising under Montana law, helping clients navigate state procedures and resolve disputes through negotiation or formal proceedings. She keeps her practice rooted in the state where she is licensed and available to advise and represent clients across Montana on legal matters that fall within her experience and training.

As of 2026 she holds an active license to practice in Montana and continues to serve clients there, addressing legal matters under Montana law.
