About Kathryn N.
Kathryn N. Lewis built her path to law through steady, local steps. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Florida Atlantic University in 2004 after beginning her studies in 2000. She then attended Stetson University College of Law and received her J.D. in 2008. Those years established both an academic foundation and early public-service ties that would shape her career.
Her earliest professional role in the public sector came in 2004, when she worked as a victim/witness coordinator for the Office of the State Lawyer in Florida's 15th Judicial Circuit. That position put her inside the courthouse and into contact with prosecutors, defense lawyers, and the people affected by criminal cases. After law school she joined Gunster Yoakley in 2008 as a lawyer, gaining experience in a private-firm environment. The following year she returned to the Office of the State Lawyer as an assistant state lawyer, a role she took on in 2009 and one that deepened her courtroom experience.
Lewis also spent time in the classroom. In 2011 she served as an adjunct professor at the Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College of Florida Atlantic University. Her teaching role tied back to her undergraduate alma mater and added an academic layer to a career rooted in practice. Those years in both practice and teaching reflect a blend of courtroom work and a willingness to explain legal ideas to students.
Throughout her career she has maintained professional ties in Palm Beach County. She is a member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, a point of local connection across both public and private practice. Her work in the State Lawyer’s Office placed her regularly in Florida’s 15th Judicial Circuit, and her private-firm stint broadened her view of client representation.
Today Lewis is based at Kitroser & Associates. Her résumé shows experience on both sides of the bench: coordinating for victims and witnesses, prosecuting as an assistant state lawyer, practicing at a private law firm, and teaching law students. Those roles inform how she approaches cases and how she interacts with clients, tribunals, and colleagues. She currently practices at Kitroser & Associates, representing clients in Florida state matters.
