About Kathleen Marie
Kathleen Marie Egan began her academic journey in Oklahoma, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Oklahoma in 2003 after starting in 1998. The liberal arts background gave her a grounding in human behavior and research that she carried into law school.
She earned her Juris Doctor from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center, finishing the program in 2007 after beginning studies in 2004. Those years in law school shaped an interest in family and matrimonial law and prepared her for admission to multiple state bars.
Egan is admitted to practice in New York, Connecticut, Arkansas and Oklahoma. She has combined the rules and practices of several state courts into a practice that moves across state lines when cases require it. Colleagues describe her as methodical in court preparation and direct in client communications.
Her professional affiliations include current membership in the New York State Bar, the Oklahoma Bar Association and the Tulsa County Bar Association. She is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, a credential that reflects sustained work in family law and an engagement with peers on complex matrimonial issues.
Over the years Egan has handled a range of matrimonial matters, including divorce proceedings, custody disputes, property division and support issues. She has worked on cases that involve asset valuation, negotiated settlements and contested hearings. Her practice spans both negotiated outcomes and litigated court work, depending on what a particular family’s situation requires.
Egan’s approach mixes careful preparation with attention to the personal stakes for clients. She spends time assembling financial records and testimony, and she aims to present facts plainly to judges and opposing parties. That pragmatic method underpins how she manages case timelines and client expectations.
She practices out of Bundy Law, where she continues to accept family and matrimonial cases. Her current practice focuses on handling complex family law matters across the jurisdictions where she is licensed.
