About Katelyn
Katelyn Vorherr built a foundation in politics and human behavior before she ever set foot in a courtroom. She earned a B.A. in Political Science and Psychology from Piedmont College in 2010. Two years later she completed her J.D. at Florida Coastal School of Law.
Her legal career has centered in Georgia. She practices under the banner of The Brown Firm, where she is part of the team that takes cases through filing, discovery and trial. Colleagues describe her as methodical and exacting in preparation. She brings the analytical habits shaped by her undergraduate studies into daily casework.
Vorherr’s peers include members of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, where she holds membership. That affiliation places her among lawyers who regularly handle contested matters in state courts. She attends association events and participates in programs that focus on trial advocacy and litigation practice. Those experiences feed into her courtroom readiness.
Her education and memberships inform how she approaches clients and cases. The study of political systems and psychology shows up in how she evaluates evidence and communicates with juries. Her law school training provided the mechanics of litigation. She combines those elements into a practice that values fact gathering, clear legal writing and persuasive oral presentation. She has handled procedural work, motions practice and the kind of preparation that trials require.
Outside of formal memberships, Vorherr’s work is practical and case-driven. She is often in courtrooms, taking depositions, arguing pretrial motions and preparing exhibits. When a case moves toward trial she is involved in jury selection and the on-the-feet decisions that trials demand. Her colleagues at The Brown Firm rely on her to manage complex schedules and to keep client communications straightforward.
Katelyn Vorherr continues her work at The Brown Firm in Georgia, where she practices litigation and participates in trial-level matters as a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association.
