About Karli Glascock
Karli Glascock Johnson built her foundation at Louisiana State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in 1995 before returning to Baton Rouge for a J.D. at the Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 1999. She completed her legal education as the decade turned, joining the ranks of lawyers trained in Louisiana’s unique civil law tradition. The years in school gave her a grounding in state practice and legal procedure.
Her career led to partnership at Kean Miller LLP. There she has practiced for years, moving from associate responsibilities to firm leadership. As a partner she handles matters anchored in Louisiana law and works alongside colleagues across practice groups. Her role requires both client work and internal firm responsibilities, such as mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to firm strategy.
Johnson is active in the local and national bar community. She holds memberships in the Louisiana State Bar, the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. Locally, she participates in the Baton Rouge Bar Association and serves on its Board of Directors. She also takes part in several Baton Rouge Bar committees, including the Volunteer Panel, the Holiday Star Committee and the Belly Up to the Bar Committee. Her alumni ties extend to Delta Zeta Alumnae at LSU, where she remains engaged with fellow graduates.
Colleagues describe her as steady and practical in approach. She balances litigation tasks with advisory matters, handling court work and client counseling as needed. Her practice is rooted in the procedural and substantive features of Louisiana law. That experience has informed how she prepares cases, advises clients and directs younger attorneys who work with her.
Johnson maintains an active presence in professional circles and community initiatives tied to the bar associations. She attends continuing legal education programs and participates in association events that address changes in statutes and court rules. Those activities keep her connected to developments affecting practitioners in Louisiana.
She is licensed to practice in Louisiana and serves clients from Kean Miller’s Baton Rouge base. Her current practice is centered on representing clients in matters arising under Louisiana law.
