Mr. Keener earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles. He then pursued his legal education at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree. These academic credentials have equipped him with a solid foundation in both general and specialized areas of law.

Throughout his legal career, Mr. Keener has focused on various practice areas, including the defense of architects and engineers, real estate agents and brokers, and other professionals. His work has encompassed contract negotiations, dispute resolution, commercial and residential real estate litigation, as well as corporate and personal injury lawsuits. He has been involved in all stages of legal proceedings, from initial case evaluation and discovery to mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Keener has accumulated over 30 years of experience in the legal field. He co-founded the law firm Baker, Silberberg & Keener in 1986, which later became Baker, Keener & Nahra. He served as the managing partner for the first fifteen years of the firm's existence. His extensive experience has enabled him to handle a diverse range of legal matters and to represent a wide array of clients effectively.

In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Keener is a certified Notary Public in the state of Oregon and a Loan Signing Agent, certified by both the Loan Signing System (LSS) and the National Notary Association (NNA). He is committed to ensuring that all relevant forms are completed accurately and returned promptly, recognizing the importance of guiding clients through complex legal documents. In his spare time, he volunteers at the Oregon Humane Society, working with homeless dogs and training new volunteers.
