About Kari Lyn

Kari Lyn Jensen began her academic journey at North Dakota State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. She went on to receive a J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law in 2015. Those years in Fargo and Missoula shaped the legal foundation she brings to her practice.

After law school, Jensen moved into private practice. She joined Chapman Law Office as a lawyer, and has built her daily work around client representation and case preparation. Her legal activity crosses state lines; she holds license credentials in both North Dakota and Montana.

Jensen’s courtroom and office work reflect a straightforward approach. She prepares filings, advises clients, and appears in hearings when cases require it. Her time at Chapman Law Office involves both written advocacy and oral presentation. Colleagues describe her as someone who approaches each file methodically and who pays attention to procedural detail.

Her professional affiliations include membership in the North Dakota Association for Justice. That association connects her to other trial lawyers in the state and offers continuing legal education and networking opportunities. Jensen uses those resources to stay current on court rulings, procedural changes, and continuing education requirements.

Outside of client work, Jensen has invested time in building practical courtroom skills. She balances litigation tasks with client counseling. The work often requires juggling depositions, motions and client communications. She is known for clear explanations and for setting realistic expectations about timing and outcomes.

Her practice at Chapman Law Office places her in the dual role of advocate and advisor. She regularly collaborates with court personnel and other attorneys in North Dakota and Montana. Jensen continues to practice law at Chapman Law Office, representing clients in matters across North Dakota and Montana.
