About Karen
Karen Weinstock earned her Juris Doctor from The Hebrew University in 1998. She began her U.S. practice in the early 2000s and moved into firm roles that combined client work with office management. Her legal education abroad gave her an early grounding in comparative legal systems and prepared her for a practice concentrated on immigration matters.
Her first reported U.S. role was as an associate at Siskind Susser in 2001. A year later she took on responsibility for the firm’s Atlanta office as Managing Lawyer. That position placed her in charge of local operations while continuing to handle casework. In 2014 she became Managing Lawyer at Weinstock Immigration Lawyers, a firm whose name reflects the principal area of practice she has pursued for much of her career.
Weinstock’s professional affiliations underline her long-standing involvement in immigration law and community organizations. She has been a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association since 2002 and joined the Lawyers Club of Atlanta in 2006. She has served on the Japan-America Society board of directors since 2003. Her civic engagement extends into local affairs through the International Engagement Advisory Board for Forsyth County, where she has been a board member since 2014. She also serves on the board of the International Women’s Series beginning in 2015. These roles reflect steady participation in both professional and community-focused groups over two decades.
Her career path shows repeated moves into management alongside ongoing casework. At Siskind Susser she advanced from associate to office manager within a short span. At Weinstock Immigration Lawyers she has held the top managerial role since 2014. She is licensed to practice in New York and maintains active involvement in organizations that deal with immigration, international exchange and women’s professional networks. Her current practice focuses on immigration matters.
