About Karen Venice
Karen Venice Bryan earned her law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School, receiving her J.D. in 2014. She attended the school during a period of rigorous clinical offerings and a growing emphasis on practical skills training. The academic foundation she built there set the stage for a career spent largely in Minnesota courts.
Soon after graduation she entered practice in the state. Over the years she secured admission to the Minnesota bar and later gained credentials to appear in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
