About Karen Shrira
Karen Shrira Steinitz built her legal foundation at the University of California, San Diego, where she completed a bachelor’s degree in 1997. She went on to earn her J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 2001. Those years set the stage for a steady practice based in California.
She began working in law not long after law school. In 2004 she joined the Law Offices of Schwartz & Gale, a firm now operating under the name Schwartz & Chauhan. The move put her into an active litigation environment and into daily client work.
By 2012 she was practicing at the Law Offices of Galine, Frye, Fitting & Frangos, LLP. Her resume shows steady tenure at private firms rather than stints in government or academia. That continuity has given her repeated courtroom exposure and an understanding of how cases move from intake to resolution.
Steinitz maintains membership in the State Bar of California and in the California Applicants Lawyers Association. The latter is an organization made up of attorneys who represent applicants in administrative and compensation matters. Her association choices suggest she works on behalf of individuals navigating California’s systems for claims and hearings.
Colleagues describe her approach as practical and detail-oriented. She breaks complex procedures into clear steps for clients and keeps a close eye on deadlines. She handles paperwork and appearances in administrative forums and in related civil proceedings. Her work requires attention to timelines and rules of evidence, and she has developed routines for both.
Outside the office she has stayed connected to professional groups. Active membership in statewide bar organizations keeps her informed about rule changes and new case law that affect daily practice. Those contacts also provide a network for referrals and specialized expertise when cases call for it.
Steinitz’s educational background and years at two firms have produced a lawyer familiar with California’s legal landscape. She currently practices at the Law Offices of Galine, Frye, Fitting & Frangos, where her work centers on representing clients in administrative proceedings and related legal matters in California.
