About Karen Piso

Karen Piso Nadeau earned her law degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1992 after completing a bachelor’s degree in mathematics at Boston College in 1989. Her academic path combined a quantitative undergraduate background with three years of legal training in Boston. The mix shaped an analytical approach to complex civil matters.

She began her legal career in 1992 as a litigation associate at Amabile & Burkly. That early work immersed her in courtroom procedure and client advocacy. In 2001 she joined Bellotti Law Group, P.C., where she served as a civil litigation lawyer and later became the managing lawyer of the personal injury department. In that role she oversaw case development and directed litigation strategy for the group’s injury caseload.

In 2018 Nadeau established Nadeau Harkavy LLC and became its owner and a personal injury lawyer. The move shifted her from firm management back to a practice concentrated on individual clients. Since founding the firm she has handled personal injury and civil litigation matters on behalf of plaintiffs, guiding claims through negotiation and courtroom processes when necessary.

Her professional affiliations include membership in the Women’s Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association. She is also a member of The National Trial Lawyers Top 100. These memberships reflect ongoing engagement with the legal community and access to professional resources and peer networks.

Colleagues describe her as methodical in preparing cases. She applies her training in mathematics to case assessment and evidence review. That background informs how she evaluates damages, structures depositions and assesses settlement offers. Her management experience at Bellotti Law Group also shaped how she organizes a caseload and coordinates with expert witnesses and outside counsel.

Nadeau practices in Massachusetts. Her work spans pretrial investigation, negotiation, and litigation. She represents clients who pursue recovery for injuries and seeks outcomes through both settlement and trial when cases require it. She maintains an active practice in personal injury and civil litigation matters.
