About Kara

Kara Rosen earned her J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in 2010. She finished law school at a moment when the legal market demanded practical courtroom skills and solid procedural knowledge. Those were the tools she brought into her early years of practice.

After graduation Rosen established herself in the New York and New Jersey bar communities. She is licensed to practice in both states and has built a practice that reflects work across those jurisdictions. Her memberships in the New York State Bar and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association place her among peers who regularly handle contested matters and courtroom litigation.

Colleagues describe Rosen as someone who attends to detail and prepares thoroughly. She favors direct communication with clients during what can be complex and stressful proceedings. Her approach is pragmatic. She lays out options, explains likely outcomes, and moves cases forward without unnecessary delay.

Over time Rosen has balanced courtroom work with case preparation and client counseling. That mix has required steady attention to evolving procedural rules in New York and New Jersey and to the particular expectations of judges in both states. She has handled matters that demanded written advocacy, depositions, and appearances in state courts. Those experiences have informed how she evaluates settlements and when she recommends trial.

Rosen has maintained professional ties through bar associations and trial lawyer groups. Those memberships provide continuing legal education and networking opportunities, and they help members stay current on appellate decisions and shifts in practice. For Rosen, that ongoing engagement supports the technical and strategic parts of litigation work.

Outside of court filings and client meetings, Rosen pays attention to the administrative side of litigation. Calendaring, deadlines, and document management shape the tempo of a case. She emphasizes those elements in the early stages so that opportunities are not missed later.

Her current practice is conducted in New York and New Jersey state courts and centers on representing clients in those jurisdictions.
