About Kalandra N.

Kalandra N. Wheeler built her path to the law through two midwestern and southern universities. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the University of Houston in 1999. She then took her legal training at the University of Arkansas School of Law, completing her J.D. in 2005.

Her early legal work began soon after law school. In 2005 she joined The Coffey Firm as a lawyer, where she gained courtroom exposure and experience in employment disputes. Over time she moved into private practice and now practices under the Wiley Wheeler, P.C. name. Her résumé reflects years of hands-on litigation and counseling in workplace matters.

Wheeler is licensed in Texas and admitted to several federal courts across the state. She appears in the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas. Those admissions allow her to represent clients in a range of federal employment cases, including matters brought under federal statutes and civil rights laws.

Her peers and certifying bodies have recognized a concentrated legal skill set. Wheeler is a Board Certified Specialist in Labor and Employment Law through the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. That credential signals measured experience in employment law and an ability to meet the state board’s standards for certification.

She participates in professional associations that center on workplace law. Wheeler has been a member of the Texas Employment Lawyers Association since 2015 and of the National Employment Lawyers Association since 2017. Those memberships keep her connected to evolving case law, legislative changes and practical developments in employment litigation.

Colleagues and clients know her practice for steady preparation and courtroom readiness. She has handled cases at the trial and administrative levels and has experience advising on discrimination, wage-and-hour, retaliation and contract disputes. Her background includes both advising employers and representing workers, providing perspective on how employment controversies play out in practice.

Today she practices under the banner of Wiley Wheeler, P.C. in Texas. Her work centers on labor and employment matters, and she represents clients in both state and federal forums focused on workplace disputes.
