About K. Dino
K. Dino Kostopoulos began his academic path in Michigan. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Wayne State University in 1994 and completed his J.D. at Michigan State University College of Law in 1997. Those years set the stage for a career centered on courtroom work and appellate practice.
After law school, Kostopoulos entered practice in Michigan courts. He is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan and is authorized to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Over time he developed experience handling matters at both the trial and appellate levels, representing clients in state and federal proceedings.
Kostopoulos’s work has involved litigation that required familiarity with procedural and substantive rules across different forums. He has taken cases through motions practice, trials and appeals, and is comfortable moving cases from the trial court record into appellate briefing. Colleagues describe him as attentive to the record and deliberate when preparing appellate arguments. He approaches cases with an emphasis on clarity — in the courtroom and on the page.
He has practiced in a mix of settings. Some matters required intensive pretrial preparation and discovery. Others demanded concise appellate briefs and oral advocacy before panels of judges. That variety shaped a practice that spans trial litigation and appeals rather than a single niche. He has represented individuals and entities in disputes that raise both state-law and federal-law questions.
K. Dino Kostopoulos is currently associated with Kostopoulos Rodriguez PLLC. At the firm he continues to bring cases in Michigan trial courts and to pursue appeals in the Sixth Circuit when appropriate. His role at the firm includes counseling clients on litigation strategy and handling the appellate work that follows contested trials.
He maintains a practice based in Michigan and appears regularly in state courts as well as the Sixth Circuit. He handles civil litigation and appellate matters arising in Michigan and in the federal appellate system.
