Justin M Lovely built a path to the courtroom that began in Tennessee. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, graduating in 2004. He then attended Appalachian School of Law and received his Juris Doctor in 2009.
After law school he entered private practice and took on roles that combined trial work and client counseling. He is admitted to practice in South Carolina and before the Federal Circuit. Over the years he has handled a range of civil claims, often appearing in state trial courts and federal forums when appellate or specialized federal work is necessary.
Alongside his day-to-day practice, Lovely has been active in professional groups. He holds membership in the South Carolina Association for Justice and has served as president of the National Academy of Motorcycle Injury Lawyers since 2018. That national role has involved organizing education for lawyers, helping set program agendas, and representing the organization at industry events.
Lovely serves as the managing lawyer at The Lovely Law Office. In that capacity he oversees case strategy, supervises litigation teams, and manages client intake. Colleagues describe him as a hands-on manager who remains involved in the litigation details while ensuring the office runs smoothly.
His courtroom work covers personal injury matters, including cases that arise from vehicle collisions. Motorcycle crash claims are a notable part of his practice, reflecting his leadership role in a national motorcycle injury lawyers group. He also handles other injury and negligence claims that require trial experience or appellate attention in the Federal Circuit.
Outside the office he has continued to engage with professional education and peer networking. Serving in association leadership has given him regular contact with plaintiff trial lawyers across state lines and exposure to evolving trial tactics and evidence issues.
