About Justin Gary
Justin Gary Hausler built his legal foundation in Florida. He earned a B.S. in Criminology from Florida State University’s Panama City campus in 2003, and then completed his J.D. at Barry University School of Law in 2006. Those academic years set a clear path into courtroom work and public-service roles.
He entered public practice soon after law school. In 2007 he served as an Assistant State Lawyer in the Office of the State Lawyer for Florida’s 18th Judicial Circuit. That early work placed him inside the trial courts and into the everyday mechanics of criminal cases. The role gave him direct experience with filings, hearings and courtroom procedure during the formative years of his career.
His career shifted toward appointment work and defense representation in the 2010s. Since 2013 he has been listed as a conflict registry lawyer for the Office of Criminal Conflict and Civil Regional Counsel (OCCRC). That listing involves accepting court-appointed matters when conflicts arise, and it has kept him regularly involved in cases brought before the regional conflict office. In 2014 he also maintained membership in the BNI Foundation. Those affiliations have kept him connected to both local legal networks and the public defense system.
He also practices privately under The Law Offices of Justin G. Hausler, P.A. His private practice works alongside his registry work and public appointments, allowing him to manage cases that range from court-appointed matters to privately retained representation. His time as a state lawyer and later as a conflict registry attorney has given him experience on both sides of criminal docket work.
Colleagues and court staff may recognize him for steady courtroom presence and familiarity with the procedural demands of criminal cases. He continues to take appointments through OCCRC while handling matters in his own office. He maintains active practice in Florida and accepts both court-appointed and privately retained cases at The Law Offices of Justin G. Hausler, P.A., where he represents clients in criminal matters and court-appointed proceedings.
