About Justin

Justin Bahrie graduated from Michigan State University College of Law in 2012 after completing his undergraduate studies at Michigan State University. He left law school equipped for courtroom work and appellate practice, prepared to enter a Michigan bar and the federal courts that hear appeals from this region.

His legal career has combined court appearances and professional association involvement. He is admitted to practice in Michigan and is also admitted to the United States Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Since 2012 he has been a member of the Michigan Association for Justice, participating in the organization that connects trial lawyers across the state.

Bahrie built his practice through Bahrie Law. Over the years he has represented clients in matters that proceed in state trial courts and, when appropriate, in federal appellate forums. His admissions to the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court enable him to take cases beyond the trial level when appeals or certiorari petitions become necessary.

Colleagues describe him as focused in the courtroom and deliberate in preparing appellate filings. He combines trial experience with appellate briefing, handling motions, preservation of issues for appeal, and appellate argument when cases move to higher courts. That combination can be important for clients who need work done at both the trial and appeals stages of litigation.

Outside of casework he has maintained ties to the legal community through his continued membership in professional organizations. His long-standing affiliation with the Michigan Association for Justice dates to the year he finished law school and has been part of his professional life since then.

Today he practices under the Bahrie Law name. He appears in Michigan courts and in federal appellate courts where he is admitted, and he represents clients in matters that may require trial-level advocacy and appellate follow-through. He currently concentrates his practice at Bahrie Law, representing clients in Michigan and in federal appellate proceedings.
