About Jullian H
Jullian H Jones grew up in a working-class community and took a straight path into the law. He attended Central State University before earning his law degree from Massachusetts School of Law. His academic years were steady and practical. They set the stage for courtroom work rather than academic scholarship.
He began his legal career in the trenches of public defense. As a felony trial lawyer for the Connecticut Public Defender he handled serious criminal matters and learned to move quickly under pressure. The job required fast legal thinking and long hours in court. It also meant repeated exposure to jury trials and complex case preparation.
After his time with the public defender’s office he spent a period at Harris Law LTD. The records list his association with that firm but do not elaborate on dates or titles. Even so, his move through different settings—public defender office to private practice—reflected a steady accumulation of trial experience.
In 2021 he opened his own firm, the Law Office of Jullian H. Jones, P.L.L.C. Creating a solo practice allowed him to handle matters from intake to trial. It also put him in charge of case strategy and client relations. Building a small practice meant switching roles often: advocate, manager, and sometimes investigator.
He is admitted in Connecticut, the United States District Court and the Southern District of New York. He also holds current membership in the State Bar of Connecticut. Those admissions allow him to carry cases across state and federal courts, and to appear in some of the region’s busier courthouses.
Practically speaking, his résumé centers on criminal defense, particularly felony work. He represents clients in trials and pretrial proceedings and appears in both state and federal court. His public defender background informs his courtroom tactics. It also shapes the way he evaluates plea offers and prepares for trial.
Today he continues to run the Law Office of Jullian H. Jones, P.L.L.C., taking criminal cases that require trial experience and courtroom readiness. He handles arraignments, pretrial motions, and jury trials through his private practice.
