About Julie

Julie Chambers studied political science at the University of Michigan and went on to earn her law degree from the University of Toledo in 2007. She arrived in the legal world with a clear academic record and a background in the study of government and law. The sequence of degrees framed an early interest in public service and courtroom work.

Her first notable post-law school role came in 2008 when she served as a deputy prosecuting lawyer at the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. That position placed her inside the county courthouse and involved work typical of prosecutorial offices. The experience gave her practical exposure to litigation, case management and courtroom procedure in a busy jurisdiction.

After moving into private practice, she established Chambers Law Office, LLC, where she acts as lawyer and owner. Running a small firm requires handling both client-facing work and the business side of a practice. Chambers navigated those demands while building a local practice that reflects her prior courtroom experience.

Chambers is admitted to practice in Indiana and Michigan. She also holds admissions to the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana. Those credentials allow her to appear in both state and federal courts across the region. Her memberships include the Indianapolis Bar Association and the Michigan Bar Association, affiliations she maintains as part of staying connected to the professional community.

Colleagues and clients have noted that Chambers combines courtroom experience from her time in a prosecutor’s office with the responsibilities of running a private practice. She balances litigation work with advising clients on procedural matters and representation in court. Her background gives her familiarity with local court practices and the demands of trial and pretrial work.

Now in private practice, Chambers continues to represent clients in matters that bring her before state and federal courts in Indiana and Michigan. She manages her firm while maintaining active memberships in regional bar organizations. Her current practice focuses on representation in the state and federal courts of Indiana and Michigan.
