About Julie Aleve

Julie Aleve Fine combines training in music and law. She took an unconventional route to the practice of law, moving from cello performance to courtroom work and client representation.

She earned a Bachelor of Music in Cello Performance from the University of Florida in 2008 and later completed a J.D. at the University of Florida in 2011. Earlier studies in cello performance at Vanderbilt University appear on her academic record. The switch from conservatory hallways to law school classrooms shaped the way she approaches complex tasks.

After law school she established her practice across two state bars. Fine is licensed to practice in both Nevada and Florida. Working in multiple jurisdictions has required her to handle differing procedural rules and client expectations. That experience has influenced how she plans and prepares for legal matters.

Fine is an attorney at Fine, Farkash & Parlapiano. At the firm she has worked on matters that range from pretrial preparation to negotiations and courtroom appearances. Colleagues describe her as methodical; she tends to break large problems into smaller, manageable steps. That temperament reflects years of study and performance as a cellist, where timing and attention to detail are constant demands.

Her background in music surfaces in client meetings and team settings. She often draws on rehearsal habits—listening, repeating, refining—to test arguments and refine strategy. The discipline required to perform in ensembles translated into a preference for clear roles and careful preparation on case teams.

Fine participates in bar-related activities and holds memberships in professional associations. Her dual admission in Nevada and Florida means she splits professional time between two legal cultures and adapts to local practices. That dual practice requires keeping current on rules in both states and coordinating logistics for clients who have matters that cross state lines.

She is currently based at Fine, Farkash & Parlapiano, where she handles cases and represents clients across the jurisdictions in which she is licensed. Her current practice focuses on matters handled through the firm and the representation of clients in Nevada and Florida.
