About Julia A.

Julia A. Leth-Perez earned her undergraduate degree in history and philosophy from Wichita State University in 2012. She went on to study law at the University of Kansas School of Law and received her J.D. in 2016. Her academic path combined liberal arts and legal training, a background that informs the way she approaches legal questions.

After law school she joined the Miami County Lawyer’s Office as an Assistant County Lawyer in 2016. In that role she worked on a variety of matters that arise in county government. She advised county officials, assisted with routine legal needs of local government, and handled filings and hearings that required a steady, procedural approach.

Leth-Perez is admitted to practice in Kansas. She maintains membership in the Wichita Bar Association, where she participates in programs and events intended for the local legal community. Her early public-sector work gave her direct exposure to the practical side of law in a local government setting.

Her career has moved into private practice at the Law Offices of O Hara & O Hara. There she applies the experience she gained in the county office to client matters. Colleagues describe her as methodical in case preparation and straightforward in courtroom presentations. She balances attention to detail with an ability to explain complex legal points in plain language to clients and officials.

Outside of casework, Leth-Perez has remained connected to the Wichita legal community through bar activities and local professional events. She continues to follow developments in statutory and administrative law that affect county operations and municipal practice. Her years in both public and private roles give her a practical perspective on how local government and private clients interact with the legal system.

Her current practice is based at the Law Offices of O Hara & O Hara, where she serves clients in Kansas and draws on her background in county government and local legal matters.
