About Jules N.

Jules N. Fiani earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Management from Oakland University before turning to law at Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor. His undergraduate studies in economics gave him a foundation in financial concepts and organizational behavior. Law school added a formal legal framework and practical training in advocacy and analysis.

After law school Fiani entered the Michigan legal community. He is licensed to practice law in Michigan. Over the years he has worked on matters that require attention to both legal detail and economic reality. His educational background often shapes how he approaches complex questions of liability, contracts and regulatory compliance.

Colleagues describe his work as methodical. He tends to parse problems into concrete steps. That approach can be useful when cases involve numbers, business records or layered statutory schemes. He combines close reading of legal authorities with an eye for the transactional or operational facts that matter most to clients.

Fiani’s training at Cooley Law School exposed him to a range of practice skills. He learned to draft pleadings, prepare motions and counsel clients through dispute resolution processes. Those practical skills have carried through to his later practice. He has experience advising on contractual terms, identifying regulatory obligations and addressing disputes that arise from commercial interactions.

He has remained active in Michigan’s legal circles, working on matters that touch state law and local institutions. His practice has involved both written advocacy and client counseling. He pays attention to procedural requirements and deadlines, and to the document work that often decides a case or transaction before it reaches a judge.

Outside the office his earlier study of economics still informs his perspective. He often looks for economically sensible outcomes that align with legal obligations. That perspective supports negotiations and problem solving when parties are trying to resolve disputes without prolonged litigation.

In the courtroom or at the negotiation table, Fiani prefers clear explanations and a steady pace. He aims to translate legal concepts into terms clients can use when making decisions. He currently focuses on legal matters at the intersection of law and business in Michigan.
