About Judith
Judith Yedidsion trained first as a scientist and then as a lawyer. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and later took her legal degree at Fordham University School of Law. Those two strands of study — one rooted in biology and behavior, the other in legal doctrine and procedure — have shaped how she approaches cases and client matters.
After law school she entered private practice and rose to a leadership role at her firm. She is a partner at Yedidsion Seber LLP, where she manages casework, advises clients, and supervises more junior lawyers. Her work requires balancing factual investigation, legal research, and courtroom preparation. Colleagues describe her as steady in litigation settings and attentive in client meetings.
Yedidsion has been active in bar and professional groups for more than a decade. She has held membership in the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association since 2010. In 2012 she joined both the Consumer Lawyers Association of Los Angeles and the Iranian American Lawyers Association. Those memberships reflect an interest in staying connected to changes in practice and to the legal community in Southern California.
Outside the courthouse she has taken on board responsibilities in the nonprofit sector. Since 2011 she has served as a director of the Pediatric Heart Center Foundation. That role has involved governance and fundraising work, and it has kept her engaged with health and child welfare issues off the courtroom calendar.
Her background in psychobiology informs how she evaluates expert testimony and medical evidence. She has said that an early training in science helps her read medical records and understand the limits of particular kinds of expert opinions. That perspective sits alongside formal legal training from Fordham, where she built the doctrinal foundation that supports her courtroom and transactional work.
Yedidsion practices law in California and maintains an active role at her firm. She continues to combine legal practice, professional association involvement, and nonprofit service in a career that spans both legal and community spheres. Her current practice focuses on representing clients in California through her role as partner at Yedidsion Seber LLP.
