About Judith
Judith Jenz earned her J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 1992. She completed a legal education at a time when the profession was changing, and she moved into practice prepared to handle courtroom work and client counsel. The degree remains a central credential in a career that spans decades.
She is admitted to practice in Illinois and has built her practice in that jurisdiction. Over the years she has worked in private practice settings and taken on roles that combine casework with firm management. Colleagues describe her as steady in the courtroom and methodical in how she prepares files and reports.
In 2015 she became managing partner at Jenz Law Office P.C. In that role she oversees day-to-day operations and supervises attorneys and staff. The managing partner title also carries responsibility for client intake, litigation strategy planning and coordinating with courts and other professionals. She has guided the firm through procedural developments and local court practice requirements.
Jenz holds certification as a Guardian ad Litem for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit. That credential covers appointments to represent the interests of children and other wards in court proceedings. Serving as a Guardian ad Litem involves investigation, interviewing, report-writing and appearing in hearings to present findings and recommendations to judges. Her involvement in those cases has given her direct courtroom exposure in matters that touch on family dynamics and child welfare.
She maintains membership in the DuPage County Bar Association and participates in local bar activities and meetings. The association ties her work to the regional legal community and provides a forum for staying aware of procedural changes and local practice trends. Jenz Law Office remains the base of her practice. She remains active in matters related to guardianship and family law and handles appointments and cases in Illinois courts.
She currently focuses her practice on guardianship and family law matters.
